About Howard Aaron Fitness Coach & Health Motivator

Howard has attended a five-year program at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science (now known as the University of the Sciences) and graduated with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. He had three semesters of anatomy and physiology and three semesters of pharmacology.

Needless to say, Howard knows the human body and how it works. He knows what influence the changes as far as diseases, prescription drugs, and age.

During the time he was attending school, he had aspirations of becoming a pharmacist. However, once Howard realized that he would be performing clerical duties, typing, and dispensing drugs for everything under the sun, he decided he could use his knowledge in a better way.

True Fitness Always Starts With Strength

Howard helps others accomplish their fitness goals. He doesn't pay too much attention to the wish list of "I want to see this" and "I want to see that." That comes with strength. Everything comes with strength.
  • Cuts
  • Definitions
  • Muscular size
  • Self-confidence
  • It all comes from strength.

If you're worried about how you look, or if you're worried about how many inches something is, you're going down the wrong path. If you work at getting stronger, your body moves easier. If you work on your strength, size and definition happen.

One of the biggest challenges to those chasing how they want to look or how they want to feel is that you can't see strength. Just because somebody is large or has big muscular legs doesn't necessarily mean they're strong. Strength has nothing to do with size and size has nothing to do with strength.

Master Your Mind and You're On the Way to Improvement

The first thing Howard needed to do was master his mind. He needed to become aware of his thoughts and his thought processes and then make quick decisions regarding whether he was going to follow his thought or not.

The easiest way to understand this is when you look at all the people who make a decision in the morning that they're going to the gym but end up procrastinating it because their mind has already convinced them that they're too tired or too stressed or have some other excuse.

Howard has been able to learn how his brain works and how his mind works and get them to work with him, not against him.

Workouts Should Maintain Your Strength for the Long Haul

The second thing Howard needed to do was bite into a workout philosophy that would allow him to continue improving and getting stronger, regardless of how his body aged.

He accomplished that by signing on with a personal trainer back in the mid-eighties. His trainer gave him everything he needed. After being with his trainer for more than 14 years, he decided it was time to incorporate other things into his routine that he was not getting from him.

Howard continued doing the same program, adding slight changes and modifications and occasionally coming up with new ideas just to keep both his body and mind in surprise mode. It's interesting how at the age of 65 his body can still do almost everything it did 30 years ago

Keep Constant Tabs on Your Nutritional Needs

Last but not the least is the nutritional component. It's not just knowing what to eat but it's knowing how much of it to eat and when to eat it.

This does take some work. It also takes trial and error because any changes you make in your nutritional habits are not going to show immediately. Sometimes they'll show up two or three weeks later. Consistency when making changes will help you decide whether or not the change was a good one or a bad one.

Then you have the ageing process, which continues to try to change the body to make it old and to slow your metabolism down. Once you've figured it out, you've only figured it out for the moment. Sooner or later you're going to have to make another change. And that's the story very simply put.

In summation, the mental, physical, and nutritional factors influence your health and fitness. All are necessary equally.
